James Carr gave the Greens an eighth-minute advantage and they looked in control when Melkie Woldemichael made it 2-0, midway through the first half.
But goals either side of half-time from Mitchell Reid and Tom Harrison got the visitors back on level terms before Shane Hasler completed the turnaround on 68 minutes.
Aidan Rees quickly levelled it up at 3-3 but United couldn't find a winner in the last 20 minutes.
They've slipped to second and are now level on points with Myrtleford, who won 4-0 away to nine-man Melrose.
Connor Caponecchia, Fletcher Caponecchia and Jack Milford fired the Savoy into a 3-0 lead before Shane Ellwood saw red on the stroke of half-time.
Melrose also had Peter Donaldson sent off before Tom Laspina scored late.
