The Cherrypickers hammered the Border outfit 54-10 in round one and it's something the then home team can't forget.
"We still remember back when they beat us by 44 points, I think we've got a better team now and we've got a few combos (combinations)," forward Blake Grounds suggested.
"We're going out there to actually win on Sunday."
The Thunder looked out of its depth in the opening losses to Young and Southcity, but the club has rebounded strongly.
It what was a virtual elimination final last week, the brave Thunder was pipped by Wagga Kangaroos.
"We definitely gained some confidence for sure, we know how to play on the back of it and we need to play our combos a bit better," Grounds revealed.
