Two teenage boys, whose ages have not been revealed, will face court on Monday after they were caught speeding in an allegedly stolen vehicle on Saturday night.
Police said they intercepted the boys as they were travelling at "a high rate of speed", but they did not reveal the car's exact speed.
Highway patrol arrested the pair and they were remanded in custody throughout the rest of the weekend.
The teenagers were from Melbourne.
The car the boys were driving was towed away.
