Urban will be responsible for communication between the coaching staff and players as well as focusing on individual athletic development and player welfare.
A Level 2 club professional tennis coach, Urban is currently involved in national and international player-pathway management and elite and pre-elite program consultancy.
He was head of tennis at Southern Sports Academy and director of junior high performance at Kooyong International Tennis Academy.

"As a tennis coach, you're always telling players of any level not to specialise too soon - to go and experience different sports and play in different environments," Urban said.
"So when the Raiders asked to meet up, I thought I'd put my money where my mouth is."
Urban's appointment follows that of Stewart Pearce as Raiders senior coach.
