A sudden storm on Thursday evening dumped more than 11 millimetres of rain on Albury-Wodonga in half an hour.

Lightning and hail accompanied the downpour, which began about 6pm.
More rain fell overnight, with the Bureau of Meteorology's 7am Friday report from Albury Airport showing 26.2mm of rain had fallen in the past 24 hours.
Wangaratta had recorded 4.4mm in the same time period while Falls Creek and Mount Hotham received 11.4mm and 16mm respectively.
Wodonga State Emergency Service was called out for roof repairs on Thursday.
"Tonight's storm came heavy and fast," the unit posted on Facebook
"High winds, gutters flooding and hail covering the ground."
The Bureau of Meteorology forecasts more showers for the rest of Friday, with an expected top temperature of 11 degrees in Albury-Wodonga.
