AS a probe continues into COVID-infected removalists who stopped in Albury and Jindera, three others have been charged with breaching public health orders.

Three men will face court after travelling from Sydney to the Central West NSW town of Molong while diagnosed with COVID.
They were stopped on Friday afternoon, four days after news broke of the removalists, who visited Border sites, spreading COVID to Melbourne.

"We know that the delta variant is highly transmissible, and it is unfathomable to think that, with all the public information and health warnings, people could so blatantly ignore the health orders," NSW Police Minister David Elliott said.
Police deputy commissioner Gary Worboys said the behaviour of the removalists undermined the efforts of regional residents to prevent COVID outbreaks.
"People are angry about it, there's no doubt the behaviour is reckless and it is certainly very selfish," Mr Worboys said.
