Ridden by Brodie Loy, Bint Alqamar was beaten by more than 14-lengths when having her first start at Wodonga earlier this month.
But the daughter of Puissance de Lune relished the heavy (10) conditions at Corowa to salute at the huge price of $34 in the $24,000 Maiden Plate, (1300m).

Maher said he had an opinion of the three-year-old filly and paid tribute to Loy who produced a stellar ride.
"It was a great ride," Maher said.
"I thought she was a little disappointing on debut at Wodonga after drawing wide and doing a lot of work.
"I told Brodie to take a sit today and she proved what she is capable of.
"She is well bred and is going to be a beautiful looking, big, strong mare going forward."
Maher went close to landing a double after Spanish Poet finished runner-up.
