With the town now sitting outside the redefined border bubble, anyone travelling to Lockhart wouldn't be able to enter Victoria.
That would rule out several Magpies players and officials, who live or work south of the border.
"I don't know all the implications at this stage," Lockhart president Bob Mathews admitted.

"We're looking from the opposition's perspective and it's obviously a concern for the Magpies.
"Because Lockhart's out of the bubble, we thought that with discretion being the better part of valour, the option is to relocate.
"We've checked with Walbundrie and they've indicated they're happy to do that so we have a fall-back position.
"We're football clubs and our aim is to play football, to provide football for the communities and we'll do everything we possibly can to achieve that."
