While the easing of restrictions in Victoria has allowed the Albury-Wodonga Football Association to resume, spectators aren't allowed back at games yet.
The Savoys will start as clear favourites to beat second-bottom Cobram and close the gap to the sides above them but co-coach Rob Caponecchia says they must be wary.
"It doesn't matter who you meet up with, having those two weeks off," he said.
"It's going to be raining on Sunday, the ground will be heavy and that makes it more of an even contest.
"We won't be able to ball-play as much as we'd like.
"It's not going to be an easy game and we're not taking it lightly.
"We're out there to win and we need to get back on track after the loss against Boomers.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"Having the two weeks off has helped us with injury recovery for some players.
"We trained on Thursday night, we had good numbers and the boys are keen to play.
"I'll keep my plan the same. Hopefully the boys will be motivated (despite there being no fans) and we'll gee them up a little bit.
"That's the way it is at the moment so we've got to move with the times."
St Pats will be hoping to keep their finals hopes alive when they visit Albury Hotspurs, while Albury City can make it 15 games without a win for rock-bottom Melrose when they meet at Jelbart Park East.
Boomers has the bye.
In the women's competition, runaway leaders Albury United host Wangaratta at 6pm on Saturday before Hotspurs and St Pats do battle at 11.20am on Sunday.
