A man in his 20's has been airlifted to hospital with a serious arm injury.
His right arm was crushed by the vehicle trapping him.
Three ambulance road crews attended the scene and transported the man to the Holbrook airport where he was picked up by the rescue helicopter.
A NSW Ambulance media spokesperson said there was a lot of dirt across the road.
Update 1.02pm:
A NSW rescue helicopter has been called in.
It is understood the truck has come to rest in the centre median strip, causing a single lane in both directions to close.
Earlier:
Emergency services are attending a heavy vehicle crash on the Hume Highway near Holbrook.
Fire and Rescue NSW superintendent Stewart Alexander is en route to the scene near Wagga Road.
He said there were reports the truck driver was trapped in the vehicle.
The truck was carrying a load of bark chips.
Live traffic said one of two lanes are closed each way on the highway.
