Wangaratta played three 20-minute periods at its home ground on Saturday morning.
"We took the opportunity to pull the game up quite frequently when we saw something really good or when we saw something that we needed to improve," coach Dean Stone revealed.
"The guys that keep you on the edge of your seats, they kept you on the edge of the seat, we're talking the Reids, the Moores, the Richards, and then we had some really impressive stuff from our younger fellows."

Meanwhile, Albury co-coach Luke Daly also said its intraclub was a success with no injuries, while Myrtleford also had no new injuries from its training session.
