However, that's not the only change to the commemorative match, with no crowds permitted under current restrictions.
It's now been nine years since the Bandits legend passed away.
Daughter and current Bandit Jade said despite the changes, she's happy to see the round being played.
"It's disappointing, but it is what it is," she said.
"My younger sister (Aleira) has been training with us, so it will be cool to have her experience it after being involved in the trainings."
The Bandits take on Knox for their first game in close to a month.

The women's side has found their rhythm in the second half of the season to notch up four wins.
McCowan credits the addition of twins Geralynn and Geraldynn Leaupepe to helping them find success.
"They've definitely brought some fire," she said.
"We've done a lot more bonding as well, which has been good.
"Now that we've got a couple of wins, we're hungry for more."
After taking a step back from the Bandits, McCowan is enjoying basketball again.
"Coming back makes you a bit more appreciative of it," she said.
