A: It appears that way and we are certainly treating it as a must-win match. Ironically the match will be at Walbundrie because it is an elimination final a couple of weeks earlier than usual.
Q: Lockhart won your clash earlier in the season?
A: They were certainly the better side on the day but we had a few injuries last time we met. We won't have any excuses if we get beat on the weekend.
Q: Do you expect to be close to full-strength on the weekend?
A: There may be one or two changes at selection on Thursday night but we just have to focus on turning up to play right from the start of the match.
Q: You have hit the lead in the league goalkicking after a bag seven last week?
A: I probably put that down to my kicking has been a bit straighter this season and I have been playing closer to goal. Previous to that we had Damian Cupido and Ryan Hon coming out of the goal square and gave them plenty of space to lead into.
Q: Are there any of your team-mates that would look better if they wore a face mask full-time?
A: Definitely Thomas Newton. The only problem is finding a mask big enough because he has got a boofhead on him.
FIXTURE
ROUND 16
Saturday, August 7
Brock-Burrum v Howlong
Culcairn v CDHBU
Jindera v Murray Magpies
Osborne v Holbrook
Lockhart v Henty
RWW Giants v Billabong Crows
MATCH OF THE ROUND: Osborne v Holbrook
Holbrook will enter the heavyweight clash chock full of confidence but Osborne is undefeated for a reason. The Tigers enjoyed a 51-point win when they clashed earlier in the season and will be looking to gain another physiological edge with the two sides destined to meet in the second semi-final. Osborne lose its home ground advantage with the match being played at Howlong but expect the reigning premier to score another decisive win.
Prediction: Osborne by 36 points
