Police have conducted a search in the region as part of an almost 20-year-old missing teenager case.

As part of ongoing inquiries into the disappearance of Niamh Maye, officers attached to Riverina Police District conducted a search in Tumut on Wednesday.
Ms Maye, then aged 18, left a campground at Jingellic on March 30, 2002 and has not been seen since.
A subsequent coronial inquest determined she had died at or near Tumut on that March weekend.
Police have not released details of the search.
