
Victoria has recorded 57 new cases of COVID-19 on the worst day of the Delta outbreak so far.
The figure is more than double yesterday's 24 case tally.
Of the new cases 13 were infectious while in the community.
54 are linked to known outbreaks and three are under investigation.
49,607 tests were conducted in the 24-hours to midnight and 27,581 vaccinations given.
