He is addressing the country on COVID and the Afghanistan situations.
Mr Morrison urged residents to get tested and vaccinated.
He also called for residents to stay connected socially,
"Stay in contact with each other through the course of these lockdowns," he said.
"Delta may have changed the game but it hasn't changed the character of Australians and our resolve to fight and beat this.
