The 2GB host voiced his regret to Wendy Howard in a short segment which aired on his program yesterday morning.
"In June, I criticised the registrar of the Albury Local Court called Wendy Howard because I had been told that during a bail hearing she had refused to watch footage from police body worn cameras," Hadley said.
"Since then we've been made aware and accept that registrar Howard didn't refuse to watch the footage, she wasn't asked to watch it at all.
"The word I got was wrong, so I retract my comments about registrar Howard and apologise to her for the hurt and embarrassment and distress it may have caused her."
Hadley had criticised Ms Howard after she bailed a man who appeared before her on an audio-visual link in connection with an alleged assault on two police officers in Griffith.

The man had been given conditional freedom in line with the Bail Act on the basis he had no prior convictions, a job and family ties.
Online links to Hadley's attacks in June have been removed from the 2GB website and Facebook.
Since July, Triple M outlets in Griffith and Wagga, known historically as 2RG and 2WG, have replaced the networked program with another talkback show hosted by Steve Price.
A co-host of The Project on television, Price could be heard in previous years on Albury's 2AY when he steered an evening program that emanated from 2GB.
