
Victoria has recorded 176 new cases of COVID-19.
All of the cases were acquired locally.
Yesterday, Victorian health authorities said day 13 tests from the Shepparton outbreak would be included in today's figure.
Of the new cases 83 are linked to known clusters while the origin of the remaining 93 remain under investigation.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The Health Department have not said how many were isolating while infectious.
33,720 vaccine doses were administered in the 24 hours to midnight yesterday and 48,372 tests received.
Yesterday, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews announced Melbourne would remain in lockdown until the state hit 70 per cent vaccination.
He said regional Victoria would likely be released from lockdown next week with more details to come soon.
