Bandits' president Luke Smith said the club is relieved to finally have a verdict on what has been a "yoyo season."
It comes following the NBL1's decision to cancel the south competition this year due to ongoing COVID lockdowns.
"It was inevitable that the decision would be made, it was just a matter of when," Smith said.
The league has made the call not to award a champion or individuals for the season.
With import players unattainable this year, Smith said it's been a good opportunity for the club's locals.
