TO counter her shire having one of the lowest COVID vaccination rates in the Riverina, Greater Hume's mayor has taken to social media.
Heather Wilton has recorded a 16-second video in front of Holbrook's HMAS Otway submarine which has been uploaded to Facebook.
"I've had my jab, have you had yours?" Cr Wilton asks viewers.
"If not, please go to your local health clinic to make an appointment.
"Please get vaccinated."
Cr Wilton said she was keen to take more action to increase immunisation levels after noticing Greater Hume trailling other areas.

By comparison, Albury was at 65.1 and 35.3, Berrigan 71.9 and 48.5, Federation 74.1 and 38.3 and Wagga 66 and 42.7.
Cr Wilton said it was clear something needed to be done to encourage citizens.
"I wanted to say 'I've been jabbed, have you?' and say 'c'mon I have done my bit, it's time you have a go, whoever you are'," she said.
Cr Wilton said vaccine delivery did not start at Holbrook until last month and she had got her inoculation at Henty in April.
"I've got some people in my own family who are very hesitant, they just don't like being told what to do and I said 'this is just about your health, our health, everyone's health'," she said.
"We went through this 65 years ago with the polio vaccine and we all lined up on the school verandah and they went jab, jab, jab."
Meanwhile, those seeking appointments at Wodonga's vaccination hub are reminded to check for slots on a regular basis as they may become free.
It follows a drop from a daily mark of around 500 last week to 460 this week.
