Victoria has recorded another COVID related death.
Minister Ben Carroll said a man in his 70s died with COVID.
127 people are in hospital with COVID, 33 are in ICU and 21 are on a ventilator.
Of the cases in hospital, 90 per cent were unvaccinated and 10 per cent had had a single dose of vaccine.
Victoria has recorded 334 locally acquired cases of COVID in the 24 hours to midnight.
Mr Carroll, the Public Transport Minister, said a V/Line trainer driver has tested positive for COVID.
He had been in the Southern Cross staff room and travelled to Gippsland.
A number of staff has been furloughed.
He said about 20 services - including the Albury to Melbourne route - have been disrupted but he expects that to grow to 100 services.
