After a horror 18 months, it's more important than ever to celebrate and recognise the ingenuity of businesses who have battled to stay afloat during the pandemic, said NSW Business' regional manager.
Anthony McFarlane said all the nominees for the Murray-Riverina Business Awards should be congratulated for surviving an exceptionally challenging period.
"While some people were bingeing on Netflix during COVID others use opportunity to rethink their business model and reinvest in technologies," he said.
"We're seeing some of those great ideas now coming through the award system everything from pre-fabricated housing concepts designed to meet housing shortage, to touchless COVID-Safe water fountains, to amazing automation in production lines to make manufacturing more competitive."
