Ziarn, 9, Jax, 8 and Kayde, 6, Johnstone are the faces of Jaxy's Bum Nutts, a free range, pasture-raised egg venture based on the family's Upper Murray dairy farm.
Parents Owen and Annika provided the kids their first 12 chickens, but they've now expanded to 66 laying hens and have several more set to hatch in the incubator.
Their grandmother purchased them their first incubator as a combined Christmas present and Jax got two more for his birthday this year as the operation continued to expand.
The bulk of the chickens are housed in an old caravan at the back of the house, which was donated by a hunter that occasionally stayed on the property.
It has been gutted and fitted out with grates and an area for eggs to be laid.
"When I'm old enough to move out I'm going to take the two incubators and the caravan with all my chooks," he laughed.
"I love going to collect the eggs."
IN OTHER NEWS:
Ziarn said the original plan for her and the brothers was to make enough to have $100 each to spend when the family went on its next holiday, but they more than doubled their target.
"We put all the money in a jar and when we go on holidays we divide it," she said.
"We bought more chooks with the rest. We buy all the food and chooks."
Different varieties of chickens lays different coloured eggs and Kayde loves when he spots a blue egg.
"I pack the eggs and put the stickers on (the cartons)," he said.
"I like dropping them off."
Demand is on the rise for Jaxy's Bum Nutts, which already supplies two pubs, a general store, two supermarkets and has another cafe looking to come on board.
Owen didn't expect the egg game to take off like it has, but he admitted the chickens have started to take over.
"I'll be milking the cows at night and the chooks are in under the cows' feet. This is every night," he laughed.
"We're the only ones selling eggs at the moment. As long as the kids are interested, we'll do it," Annika added.
