COVID-19 vaccination coverage in private residential aged care staff in the Murray Primary Health Network reached 99 per cent this week.

The Murray PHN region spans from Mildura in the north west to Woodend in the south, and across to Seymour and up to Albury.
More than 3700 residential aged care staff across 80 facilities in the region had received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose from late July.
Murray PHN COVID vaccination strategic lead Kate McIntosh celebrated the milestone.
"We're really appreciative of the work that the management and staff of each of the facilities have done to meet this milestone," she said.
"It has been a real team effort."
Despite the public holiday in Victoria, jabs will keep going in arms at the Wodonga Vaccination Hub and appointments are available for first and second dose Pfizer and AstraZeneca.
The hub delivered 480 vaccines on Wednesday and Albury Wodonga Health swabbed 267 people.
Testing clinics will also be open over the long weekend; on Friday and Saturday from 8.30am to 3.30pm (closed for 30 minutes at midday) at Smythe Street and from 8am to 4pm at Vermont Street.

Neither Albury Wodonga Health, which manages contact tracing for COVID cases on the Victorian side, nor Murrumbidgee Local Health District - responsible for tracing north of the Murray, announced any new Border COVID-19 cases yesterday.
However, there were two new cases in the Hilltops local government area brought the total cases in this outbreak in MLHD to 18.
