NSW Police have confirmed two teenagers arrested in a car chase in Gundagai on Tuesday have tested positive to COVID-19, with one believed to have visited Greater Sydney.

It comes as the MLHD confirmed the district has recorded it's first cases of the virus in three days, with two people from outside the region testing positive for the virus and being treated at Wagga Base Hospital.
They also released three new exposure sites which can be found here.
A number of officers from the Riverina Traffic and Highway Patrol Command are currently self-isolating after stopping a silver Mitsubishi sedan on the Hume Highway in Gundagai on Tuesday morning after checks revealed the license plates were stolen.
A chase commenced following the traffic stop, after the driver allegedly accelerated away upon the approach of the officers.
The chase was cut short when the sedan drove through a paddock, and crashed into a street sign near the Dog on the Tucker Box.
In other news:
Police arrested an 18-year-old male driver from Dapto and his 16-year-old female passenger, who were subsequently taken to Gundagai Hospital for observation.
Both teens later tested positive to COVID-19, a police spokesperson has confirmed.
Investigations following the arrest confirmed the car was stolen from Dapto last Friday.
Officers allegedly discovered three knives and number plates, including one pair not belonging to the vehicle, during a search of the vehicle.
The 18-year-old was charged with 14 offences including leaving Greater Sydney for prescribed purposes without a permit, and not complying with COVID-19 public health orders.
Other charges included driving dangerously, driving recklessly or furiously or in a dangerous speed or manner, the use of a class A vehicle displaying misleading number-plates, resisting an officer in execution of duty, and custody of a knife in public place.
The Dapto man was refused bail to appear in Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday, October 13 2021, while the girl will be dealt with under the Youth Offenders Act.
