Beer DeLuxe Albury, Sunday, October 3, from 3pm
If you've been missing live music and want to support the Border's entertainment industry, you better hop on down to Band Together Sunday. The event will give homegrown bands a performance opportunity with full rig lighting and sound production at Beer DeLuxe. Tickets are $15 with all sales going straight back to the performers and production crew who have been doing it pretty rough over the last 18 months. Border bands Mary Roll and Tribehounds will be taking the stage. Doors open from 3pm, there are capacity limits so get down quick.
MOB TOBY
Lake Hume Boat Shed, Saturday, October 2, from 4pm
Live music you crave, but maybe a big production vibe is not what you're after; if so, head along to see Albury pop-folk singer-songwriter Toby Mobbs finally play at the Lake Hume Boat Shed, after initial postponement due to lockdown. The librarian by day is currently gearing up for his debut album and national tour next year. See our rising star close to home before he conquers the Australian music scene - then you'll be able to claim, "I saw him before ...".
TO MARKET
Cafe Musette, 2/480 Young Street, Albury, Sunday, October 3, 8am to noon
The Border has a number of markets, but the RegenerEAT Farmers Market outside Cafe Musette has a different spin. The market showcases local producers who care about what and how they farm. Everything sold is produced using regenerative practices, with no chemicals or sprays, and ethical animal care. It's held the first Sunday of each month so trot along this weekend, otherwise it's a long wait until November.
