One new case was acquired overseas.
NSW Health is today reporting the deaths of 15 people with COVID-19 - eight women and seven men. Three people were in their 50s, two people were in their 60s, two people were in their 70s, six people in their 80s, and two people were in their 90s.
Yesterday was the equal deadliest day in the state.
96 new cases were reported in Illawarra, 36 cases were reported ion Central Case, 20 in Southern NSW, 69 in the Hunter New England region, 48 new cases in Western NSW, five cases in Northern NSW, seven cases in teh Far West, three in the Mid North Coast and six new cases in Southern Highland.

Seven new cases were recorded in the Murrumbidgee - six in the Hilltops and one in Griffith.
In the 24 hours to 8pm, 112,334 tests were received.
Yesterday Murrumbidgee Local Health District confirmed one case from Deniliquin.
MLHD did not specify if the Deniliquin case was a local resident but said the person was being cared for in Deniliquin.

It comes as Victorian recorded more than 1000 cases for the second consecutive day.
Victoria recorded 1143 cases of COVID in the 24 hours to midnight yesterday and 1438 cases the day before.
Yesterday, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced NSW students would return to school a week earlier than planned.
NSW recorded 941 cases yesterday.
