A Wangaratta childcare and kindergarten centre has been forced to close after becoming a COVID exposure site.

Country Buddies Wangaratta took to Facebook to inform parents and the community that the Health Department had notified the centre it was a tier one exposure site.
The centre has clarified the exposure time was on September 29 between 6.30am and 5pm.
Details appeared on the department's coronavirus website on Sunday morning.
A case attended the venue and people should get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from the exposure.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"We will keep you all updated as we become more aware of the situation and circumstances," the centre said.
"At this stage we will be closed Monday and Tuesday possibly longer due to staffing."
Earlier today Victorian COVID Commander warned the region to expect exposure sites in Yarrawonga and Shepparton linked to the current outbreak in Shepparton.
The Yarrawonga exposure sites are yet to appear on the Department's website.
Greater Shepparton returned to lockdown late Friday evening.
