After successful but short-lived extended vaccination hours at Albury Wodonga Health's hub, regular after-hours jabs will take place on Thursdays.
To increase access to the COVID-19 vaccine, the Wodonga Vaccination Hub will now be open on Thursday nights from this week.
The last appointment available on Thursdays will be at 7.30pm.
Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations will now also be available at the hub, from Tuesday.
Moderna, given four weeks apart, can be given to people aged 12 and over, including those that are immuno-compromised, pregnant or breastfeeding.
Like the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, Moderna is an mRNA vaccine.
AWH's executive director of public health Lucie Shanahan said it was pleasing to be able to extend the availability of vaccines in Albury-Wodonga.
"We are very pleased that we now have Moderna vaccinations available at the hub," she said.
"I urge residents not yet vaccinated to make a booking to keep yourself, your family and our community safe."
There are a number of pharmacies and medical centres providing vaccines: a list is available at www.awh.org.au.
