Xylavene Beale, Lyla Bell, William Benson, Isaac Blackstone, Drew Brndusic, Braydan Godde, Harry Harrington, Audrey Hogg, Dustin Hood, Jacinta Shaw and Evangeline Willett are due to be inducted in Wagga next Saturday, October 23.

The Academy group will come together at least twice a month to receive the best coaching available in the area.

The program will develop the fundamental skill level of players, which will enhance their opportunities for selection into Brumbies representative teams.

"The club is thrilled with the level of representation from the Junior Steamers in the squad," Steamers junior president David Benson said.

The 2022 academy staff comprises head coach Jonathan Andreou, coaches Harriett Elleman and Tyson Morgan and manager Paul Spain.

Despite the many challenges COVID has thrown up, the Steamers juniors have still managed to field 11 teams across all age groups this year.

Planning is also under way for the club's annual social touch sevens competition.
