Ryan Garthwaite looms as a likely recruiting target for former club Corowa-Rutherglen after being delisted by Richmond on Friday.
Both Garthwaite and Derek Eggmolesse-Smith were informed by Tiger officials on Friday that they will not be offered contracts for 2022.
Ironically, Corowa-Rutherglen are advertising for a playing assistant coach to join Peter German at John Foord Oval.
Garthwaite played 14 senior games for the Tigers across five seasons after being selected in the fourth round (No. 72 overall) of the 2016 AFL National Draft.
Best known as a defender, the 192cm tall played forward in the reserves this season but also played five matches in the seniors.
Eggmolesse-Smith played nine matches for Richmond including one appearance this season.
Richmond General Manager- Football Talent, Blair Hartley thanked both players for their contributions to the Club.
"We thank Ryan for his continued effort and application across five years at Richmond," he said.
"Derek likewise worked really hard throughout his four years with us, since initially being selected as our first ever NGA prospect.
"They both played a role in our recent success, and we wish them well for the future."
The former Murray Bushranger was the first player from Corowa-Rutherglen to play at the elite level since David Teague.
