Albury should be partly compensated for prolonged border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic by sending in extra resources at testing sites, according to Farrer MP Sussan Ley.

"Albury has taken a number of hits for NSW during this pandemic," she said.
"Now we're experiencing a jump in case numbers on the border I think the NSW government needs to provide more people and longer hours at the city's local test sites.
"I've made this point to Brad Hazzard directly."
"I really believe Rapid Antigen Testing is the way to go here for casual contacts, and it would absolutely take the pressure off the current testing sites," she said.
"When schools are affected, any parent will always want to ensure their children, and family, are safe before returning to school."
