Belvoir's Kaiden Withers struck an unbeaten 57 in Saturday's seven-wicket win over Lavington and followed it with 33 in a thrilling loss to Albury on Sunday.
And Lavington's Eddy Schultheis posted a composed 50 not out against Belvoir and again top-scored with 33 in the penultimate over win against St Patrick's on Sunday.
"I've never seen a kid hit so many cricket balls," Panthers' captain Michael Galvin suggested.
"I've driven the past the ground (Lavington Sportsground) in the dead of winter and he's up there, he's got his old man throwing balls to him and he's running five kilometres every day, he just loves his cricket and what you see here is a kid that's worked really hard over the off-season.
"He absolutely deserves his spot at the top of the order, I think he'll be something special for us, hopefully."
Schultheis turned 16 only last month and is completing year 10 at Murray High School.
He's known as an extremely quiet person by his team-mates, but there's no mistaking his passion for the game.
"I love batting and just cricket in general," he offered.
"I just love it when it comes out of the middle and you're hitting the ball as hard as you can."
The teenager's knock against the Patties was vital in the win.
He struck three boundaries from 39 balls, including one exquisite shot straight down the ground.
