The championship has been in recess for more than three months but is about to roar back into action with four rounds over consecutive weekends - all at the same track.
Reynolds and his Kelly Grove Racing team will effectively set up camp at Sydney Motorsport Park, with the first of this weekend's three races taking place at night.
"I've never done anything like this before in my life, racing at the same track four times in a row," Reynolds said.
"The most we've done is two in a row and by the end of the second one, you're getting pretty over it.
"I can't imagine doing another two after that, so it's going to be a mental challenge to turn up every round.
"You'll find that the cars which are fastest on the first day continue to be fastest over the four rounds so if you can roll out with lots of confidence and present a good car to the track, you'll have a good four rounds in a row."

Reynolds is 15th in the championship but was encouraged by the gains his team made at the last outing in Townsville.
"I was really happy with our pace over those two weekends," he said.
"We didn't get the best result but every time you upgrade parts on your car, it can show up other problems.
"Having the time off these last three months has been really beneficial for our team.
"We've had time to upgrade the car which you wouldn't have in a normal season.
"It's worked out in our favour so hopefully we'll have another uptick of pace."
