St David's Uniting Church will hold its 27th annual church fair from 9am to 1pm, with COVID-safe measures added to the usual activities.
Peter Carmody and Friends are providing live music and the church opportunity shop will be open.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Church member Jo Osmond has a special interest in the art exhibition, which will include paintings by her late husband Gordon and photographs taken by her son John.
A teacher by profession, Gordon particularly focused on his painting after retirement and sold hundreds of works over the decades until his death in 2019.
His son favours a camera over a paint brush.
"About the only good painting I can do is probably a room," John said with a grin.
The Osmond photos and paintings will be available for sale on Saturday.
Mrs Osmond thinks she's attended every St David's fair so far and usually helps out at the craft stall.
"I like it all," she said.
"I like looking at everything and I usually get something from most of the stalls."
While the community does need to be careful given the Border's COVID situation, Mrs Osmond also feels "life has to go on".
The St David's church fair, corner of Wilson and Olive streets, Albury, is a cash-only event.
Masks, QR or manual sign-in and COVID vaccination will be required to visit all stalls.
People not fully vaccinated will be able to buy takeaway food and drink and attend the outdoor plant stall.
