Eight new case of COVID were recorded in Wodonga and 13 in Albury.
Two cases were reported in Greater Hume, and one in Wangaratta.
The Albury Wodonga Health Community COVID Consult Clinic is currently caring for 390 COVID-positive individuals from across the border region.
There are currently nine COVID-positive patients in hospital, none of whom are in Intensive Care.
NSW recorded 190 COVID cases in the 24 hours to 8pm.
Victoria recorded 941 cases.
It comes as Riverina businesses prepare to welcome even more visitors, after the state government announced it would bring forward its reopening date from December 1 to November 8.
Albury Wodonga Health yesterday warned Albury-Wodonga's COVID case numbers may not have peaked yet.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Executive director of public health Lucie Shanahan said that number dropped yesterday to 575, and seven people were in hospital.
"Whilst it is pleasing to see a reduction in numbers we're not yet confident that we're on top of this outbreak," she said.
Murrumbidgee Local Health District's Alison Nikitas said the lower case numbers could be due to less testing.
