As nominations closed yesterday they were the only three nominees for the region which covers Holbrook and Gerogery.
Cr Quinn has been on the council since its formation in 2005.
In the north ward, incumbents Henty duo Doug Meyer and Annette Schilg will face-off against former councillor Karen Schoff, from Walla, and Culcairn quarry manager Ian Forrest.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Mrs Schoff nominated in the hope it would result in a referendum being held on the future of the shire's wards.
She wants them abolished on the basis there would be better representation in an unsubdivided system.
However, a referendum will not be held because east ward will be uncontested.
In the west ward, Bradley Hore, Jenny O'Neill, Matt Hicks, Ashley Lindner, Jonathan Howard and Barbara Chenoweth will vie for the three spots in the area which encompasses Jindera.
