The fierce storm which halted play probably saved Corowa at home against Lavington in Cricket Albury-Wodonga provincial on Saturday.

The visitors won the toss and sent Corowa in and ripped through the top order to leave the second-year club teetering at 4-17 from nine overs.
Panthers' captain Michael Galvin nabbed Jarred Lane for two and then combined superbly with emerging wicketkeeper Brady Marshall to stump the dangerous Daniel Athanitis for a second ball duck.
Pace bowlers Ryan Brown and David Tassell claimed one wicket apiece.
