The left-hander belted 53 runs from only 38 deliveries as the home team posted 8-139 from its 20 overs.
The Bushies were 2-32 after six overs when a storm hit the Border, with the match ending in a draw.
Hemann-Peterson is believed to be the association's youngest player after debuting at just 13 in November, 2017.
Now in his fifth season of first grade, the wicketkeeper-batter posted his other half-century when he made his highest score of 63 not out against Albury last season.
"Traditionally as the wicketkeeper, you bat around seven, but last season Miles got a few opportunities at the top of the order and he took them with both hands," coach Brett Davies explained.
"Unfortunately, with the T20s we haven't been able to give him much of a go at the top, but he got an opportunity and I'm really proud of him the way he went about it."
Hemann-Petersen, who only turns 18 in January, smacked four boundaries and a six.
"He definitely plays 360 degrees, which is brilliant," Davies enthused.
'He's confident, he takes the game on and I just love the way he goes about it.
"He's just really good at manipulating the field, he plans his innings really well and spent some time with (top order bat) Matty Tom in the pre-season and spending time with classy players you're only going to develop better habits."
Hemann-Petersen combined with fellow teen Max Diffey in a 50-run stand.
"I think if this year was predominantly one-day cricket, it would have been a standout year for him (Hemann-Petersen), a breakout year like it was for Coby (Fitzsimmons) last year," Davies revealed.
"I'm really excited to get him into the longer format, so he can build an innings over a longer period and make some big scores for us.
"I'm really excited what this year can look like for Miles."
The 11 T20 rounds finish with a double header on December 4, with the same number of 50-over matches starting the following weekend.
The finals are also the longer format.

The Crows will also be buoyed by the hard hitting of No. 3 Kris Milosta, who hit three boundaries in his 19 from 17 balls after missing last year with an umbilical hernia.
