Every grain will count towards boosting health services in the area with farmers asked to donate what they can spare this harvest to support the Avondale Place Community Care fundraiser.
The project - overseen by The Henty Respite Trust - has been made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of a local family, who donated $1.5 million towards the build.
Board member Mick Broughan said funds were now being raised to cover the final fit-out and furnishing of the facility, with a target of $150,000.
A flyer has been sent out to more than 650 grain growers at Lockhart, Henty, The Rock, Culcairn and Yerong Creek asking for donations of grain/canola when they deliver to Croker Grain or GrainCorp Henty West sites.
Farmers can opt to donate "a load, part-load, tonne or two" to the Henty Respite Trust NGR (national grower register) with signs to go on display at the grain receival sites promoting the 'Avondale Place' project.
It will fill a gap which currently sees carers and their families going without respite or having to travel long distances to access it.

Mr Broughan said it was shaping up to be another great harvest and "this year's prices are looking very good".
"It's a unique fundraiser; which provides an opportunity for the community to be involved in supporting a facility that will benefit so many residents across the region - not just Henty," he said.
"It will fill a gap which currently sees carers and their families going without respite or having to travel long distances to access it."
The project is ahead of schedule, according to Mr Broughan, with construction to start in the new year.
Three firms have already indicated they are prepared to tender for the project.
The centre will be run an experienced respite services contractor, overseen by a board (currently chairman Ben Hooper, Mary Liston, Peter and Allison Campbell and Mr Broughan).
