Thomas rejoined her home club this year after overcoming a season ending knee injury while playing for Wodonga Raiders back in 2019.
After two surgeries and close to 18 months on the sideline, she admitted it was good to be back.
"Getting back to play at home with my younger sister (Hannah) has been a great experience," Thomas said.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"It was great to have so much support around me and to have the opportunity to get back on court and not feel the pressure of being a shooter.
"I really wanted a season where I could take the pressure off myself.
"I found my love for the game again."
Tammy Kennedy was named runner-up.
