A LAVINGTON grandmother is pulling out all the stops to send her grandkids to their first Scout camp.
Lorraine Sheppard will join the Garage Sale Trail on Saturday for the first time to raise money for her Corryong-based grandkids, Makayla, 12, and Markus Ardley, 11, to go to the Victorian Jamboree next year.
Ms Sheppard said Corryong families had been doing it tough since the Summer Bushfire Crisis, the global pandemic and devastating storms.
"My daughter has taken on the Scouts group because the town really needs something for the kids," she said.
"But it's $1500 for each child to go to the camp and Corryong is already battling.
"I've been working on this garage sale project throughout COVID over the past four or five months."
