He beat Barnawartha's Brad Chant and Yackandandah's Josh Bankes who both tied for second after polling nine votes.

The third's award was taken out by Yackandandah's Jim Lawson who topped the count with 18 votes.
Similar to both the seniors and reserves, there was a tie for runner-up.
Both Barnawartha's Cohen Trujillo and Rutherglen's Samuel Edmondson polled 14 votes.
Thurgoona's Cody Spencer was a narrow winner of the fourth's honour.
Spencer polled 20 votes to narrowly beat Rutherglen's Rory Beattie on 19.
Kiewa-Sandy Creek's Blake Capper was a further vote behind in third spot.
Highly rated Yackandandah recruit Josh Garland pipped Beechworth's Campbell Fendyk for the Dunn's Twin City Cranes player of the year honour.
