Albury Council has retained employee who yelled at councillor, prompting complaint

A council source told The Border Mail on Tuesday that the man had been reprimanded but retained.

Council chief executive Frank Zaknich had declined to say if the worker kept his job in response to an inquiry last week.

Cr van de Ven complained to the council after the man yelled from an Albury City garbage truck while his group was teeing off at Commercial Albury Golf Club.
