Holbrook youngster Corey McCarthy has signed with East Wagga-Kooringal in the Farrer league.

After emerging through the Brookers' junior ranks, McCarthy established himself as a senior regular in 2019.
McCarthy, 20, enjoyed another solid season under coach Matt Sharp this year with his versatility to play numerous roles including across half-back and half-forward.
His older siblings, Daniel and Kieran both played for East Wagga this year.

McCarthy said the chance to be reunited with his brothers was too hard to ignore despite the Brookers once again shaping as genuine flag contenders.
"It was a very tough decision to leave Holbrook," McCarthy said.
"But I just wanted to play alongside my brothers.
"I really enjoyed this year playing under Sharpie and he has been good for my development.
"I can't speak highly enough of him to be honest."
