A four-bedroom house in a quiet cul-de-sac in East Albury sold for almost double what it did seven years ago.

Stean Nicholls auctioned 6 Curlew Court, East Albury, on behalf of the government, fetching a final sale price of $645,000.

In 2014 the property sold for just $345,000.

A two-bedroom Albury unit, at 1/572 Thurgoona Street, Albury sold for $457,000 - 60 per cent more than it last sold for in May 2019.

The unit has an existing rental tenancy in place until August 2022 and a rental income of $342 per week.

Over in Dean Street, a two-bedroom unit sold for $380,000, having increased in value by $100,000 in just two years.

In March 2019, 3/684 Dean Street, Albury, sold for $280,000.

A three-bedroom home at 17 Beaus Court, East Albury, sold at auction for $611,000 - 70 per cent more than it sold for in 2018.

The sale of 29 Egret Way, Thurgoona, also by Stean Nicholls, attracted heated bidding from four interested parties with more than 21 bids entered before the property finally sold for $870,000.

The home, sitting on more than 1100sqm of land, last sold in November 2019 for $735,000. Saturday's sale price marks a 18 per cent increase in value in two years.

A two-bedroom townhouse, located just 700 metres from Albury's Dean Street was passed in at auction after receiving a highest bid of $385,000.

While a red-brick home at 662 Pemberton Street, central Albury, was also passed in at auction by Stean Nicholls after attracting a highest bid of $668,000.
