In a win for Border rock enthusiasts and music lovers alike, Rutherglen's A Day on the Green music festival will be returning next year featuring Aussie rock legend Midnight Oil.
The iconic band will present their new album, Resist, on Saturday, March 12 at The All Saints Estate.
Resist engages with modern issues, like the lead single "Rising Seas" which tackles the climate crisis in typically uncompromising fashion.
"We hope everyone who hears this album and gets to one of the shows will come away charged up about the planet's future," Peter Garrett said.
Some of the proceeds will go to organisations fighting climate change.
