Greater Hume Shire roads, facilities affected by rain and floodwaters

The council listed 11 road closures in an update, with about 20 other sections having water across them.

"Council advises that due to the current weather conditions there may be other roads under water not listed," Greater Hume posted on its Facebook page.

"Please drive with caution and do not drive through flood waters."

Areas affected include Jindera, Henty, Culcairn, Coppabella, Table Top, Holbrook, Lankeys Creek, Jingellic and Morven.

The Henty customer service office and library has closed for the day due to the current weather conditions.

The Albury Airport weather station recorded 9.2 millimetres of rain between 9am and 1pm Friday.

This followed 10.8mm in the 24 hours to 9am Friday and 12.4mm and 15.4 the two previous days.

Roads closed due to flooding, as of 1.02pm:

Coppabella Bridge, Coppabella.

Coppabella Road, Coppabella closed from Four Mile Lane intersection to McGinnity's Gap intersection.

Luther Road, Jindera.

Burma Road, Table Top is closed due to water over Taylors Bridge.

Bruce Street, Holbrook at the creek.

Lochiel Road, Lankeys Creek.

Funks Road, Jindera from Red Hill Road to the end of Funks Road.

Jingellic Road, Jingellic and Holbrook. Traffic will be diverted via Hume Highway, Little Billabong, Tumbarumba Road, Carabost.

Tip Road, Holbrook - Landfill also closed.

Coach Road, Morven from Odewahns Road to Fellow Hills Road.

Taylors Road, Morven.

Hendersons Road intersection off Jingellic Road.

Jindera Walla Road, Jindera near Five Chain Road intersection.

Funk Road, Jindera.
