Sedgwick originally signed with Hawks for the shortened 2020 COVID season, but the club elected not to play.
"We've chased him for a couple of years, he's really good mates with our ruckman," East Wagga Kooringal president Paul Bourne suggested.
Sedgwick loves the outdoors lifestyle and has done some hunting and fishing with Hawks' ruck Kyle North-Flanagan.
The rugged on-baller started last season with Lavington, where he showed his class against Yarrawonga.
However, when the O and M was forced into a COVID break, Sedgwick returned to play a one-off with his former club Brock-Burrum, but he decided to return full-time to the Saints, until the Hume league was also forced to abandon its season due to COVID.
"He'll bring a lot of speed through the middle and a lot of class obviously, but his best asset is he's a good clubman, good bloke to have around," Bourne praised.
