
Albury Wodonga Health has reported three new cases across its contact tracing catchment after a massive testing day on Monday.
Three new COVID-19 cases were reported within the Albury Wodonga Local Public Health Unit catchment in the 24-hour period up to 8pm on Monday.
One is in Wangaratta, one is in Wodonga and one is in Indigo.
Two of the cases are linked to NSW positive cases, while investigations are continuing into the other.
Nearly 400 COVID-19 tests were done by Albury Wodonga Health on Monday.
There is currently 1 COVID-positive patient in hospital, and they are not requiring Intensive Care.
In total, AW LPHU is reporting 18 active COVID-19 cases across its catchment.
The city of Albury currently has 24 active cases according to NSW Health.
Albury, Federation and Wagga each recorded one new case yesterday, the Murrumbidgee Local Health District reported.
MLHD continues to urge the community to come forward for testing and vaccination, with coverage as follows:
- 98.2% 16 Years and over (1st dose)
- 95.6% 16 years and over (2nd dose)
- 85.4% 12-15 years (1st dose)
- 77.4% 12-15 years (2nd dose)
